Ekansh Katiyar is a photographer and director based in Mumbai. He works across fashion, advertising, and motion, shooting campaigns for brands, editorial for magazines, and films for clients across India and abroad.
His path began at fourteen, when someone handed him a camera at a wedding. He never gave it back. A degree in Mass Media brought him to Mumbai. Early work on Band Baajaa Bride and India's Next Top Model brought him to set, and then to fashion.
Motion came in early. Short films and ads shot for college festivals grew into commercial work, brand reels, and end-to-end campaign production. Today he directs and produces alongside the photography. His commercial work is clean and built for scale. His personal work stays editorial.
He has worked with Manish Malhotra, Orra, Amazon Fashion Up, Lakmé, MTV, Versace, Raymond, and Maker of Modern Goa. His frames have appeared on billboards, in magazines, and across brand campaigns. He still walks onto every set trying to learn something he didn't know the day before.
